This is how our story began
Kaleidoscope IP was founded by Kay Sulita Dindayal, a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law (2012). Before entering private practice, Kay gained experience at a global finance, data, and media company, where she saw how branding fuels trust, identity, and market power.
She then served for over a decade as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), reviewing thousands of trademark applications across industries. That experience gave her a deep understanding of the approval process and how to craft applications that succeed.
MEET THE FOUNDER
As a first-generation American of Guyanese heritage, Kay grew up inspired by the women in her family who created something out of nothing with resilience and vision. Today, as a mom of two young daughters, that inspiration fuels her passion for helping female founders protect their brands and reach their dreams. At Kaleidoscope IP, she is committed to empowering women entrepreneurs to forge their own paths, build and scale incredible brands, and secure the legacies they are creating for the next generation.
